BIG STRIDES START WITH SMALL BUT DELIBERATE STEPS
For years, I've dedicated my life to horses and the world of showjumping. I've had the privilege to learn and work in some of the world best stables alongside some of the world's best riders & coaches - from Thomas Fuchs, Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, Willi Melliger to Markus Beutel - learning the ins and outs of this demanding yet fascinating industry.
Now the time has come for my team and I to take these learnings and create something with our vision & spin.
MY PROMISE TO YOU
Our mission and values sit at the center of why we are starting this journey. We want to create a community where all types of horses and riders can thrive and compete hard - regardless of their background. We believe in an honest and transparent approach when it comes to horse treatment, training and development where all parties get treated in a fair and respectful manner.
We are approaching this project with a long term mindset valuing sustainable structures over short term profits / success. This means not cutting corners and always going the extra mile while driving for operational excellence and professionalism.
It also means having fun in everything we do. I have had too many high & lows in my career to know that it's the fun & passion for riding that gets you through the lows.
Most importantly we will stay humble and not take ourselves too seriously not forgetting who the real star of the show is - our horses.
Everything starts and ends with animal welfare at Big-Stride Equestrian where decisions are made in the interest of the horse - you have my word on that.
